	DIRECTIONAL AIR VALVE When cleaner is in normal carpet/bare floor use, air is directed from the floor to the bag. The shortest route possible for greater cleaning efficiency.
	When hose is removed from cleaner for above-the-floor cleaning, the valve redirects and concentrates the air flow through the hose and into the bag, in turn, shutting off the brush roll.
